Leaders of Al-Qaeda Fleeing Seiyun Prison to Coalition Camps in Marib

A number of al-Qaeda prisoners, including leaders, arrived in Marib city after they escaped from Seiyun prison in Hadhramaut province.

Local sources in Marib province told the “Yemen Press Agency” that 10 princes of the terrorist organization, accompanied by a number of their companions, arrived at the headquarters of the “Third Military Region” in Marib city, on board three buses.

Buses carried al-Qaeda leaders and gunmen who came from the city of Seiyun to Marib under heavy military protection by members of the group, who were recruited in the “third military region,” the sources said.

Al-Qaeda operatives escaped from Seiyun Central Prison last Thursday, mysteriously, where Islah militants were accused of facilitating their escape from prison.
