Houthis’ Air Defenses Shoots Down Saudi Spy Plane in Sana’a

The air defenses of Sana’a forces shot down on Monday evening an armed spy plane belonging to the Saudi Air Force during it violating the truce and carrying out hostilities in the airspace of the capital Sana’a.

Sana’a forces spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Sarea said in a statement that air defenses had just shot down a Chinese-made Armed Spy Plane CH4 of the Saudi Air Force while violating the truce and carrying out hostilities in the capital Sana’a.

“Our Air Defenses shot down a Chinese-made CH4 spy drone plane belonging to the Saudi-led forces, while carrying out hostile acts over the airspace of the capital Sana’a,” the Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e said in a statement.

Brig. Gen. Yahya Sarea noted that the aircraft was shot down by a homemade surface-to-air missile.

On Saturday, the Yemeni air defenses shot down a Turkish-made Karayel spy drone operated by Saudi Air forces, while it was violating the UN-sponsored truce with hostile actions this morning in the airspace of Hayran district, Hajjah province.
