Sana’a Appreciates India’s Decision Regarding Wheat Import

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sana’a government, Hisham Sharaf, on Wednesday sent a letter to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the friendly Republic of India, Subramaniam Jay Shankar.

In the letter, the Foreign Minister expressed the thanks and appreciation of the National Salvation Government and the Yemeni people to the Indian government for its decision to exempt the Republic of Yemen from the ban it imposed on exporting wheat abroad against the backdrop of the Ukrainian crisis.

Sharaf affirmed that this decision is appreciated and cherished by all the Yemeni people and would reflect positively on the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
