The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia have imposed kafala or sponsorship system on citizens from the northern provinces.
Activists circulated a form for the STC’s security belt forces in Yafa’e showing the imposition of a sponsorship system on the citizens of the northern provinces.
This comes at a time of escalating banditry and armed robberies against travelers in the Tor al-Bahah, Taiz- Aden Road.
