Sana’a Exempts “Future Cars” from Customs

Member of the Supreme Political Council (SPC) -the highest executive authority in Sana’a- Muhammad al-Houthi, directed the exemption of electric cars from customs, to encourage their import as “cars of the future”.

Al-Houthi said in a tweet on “Twitter”: “The government should announce a general amnesty for the customs of all electric cars,” noting that these cars have “impact and returns in the service of the economy and the environment.” and to encourage their import as they are the cars of the future.”

Sana’a would exempt electric cars from customs, encouraging traders to import them to meet the needs of citizens, especially in light of the successive crises on oil derivatives caused by the coalition.
