Two Girls Die due to Torrential Rains in Capital Sana’a

Two girls died overnight due to heavy rains that hit the capital Sana’a, Medical sources reported on Sunday.

According to the sources, heavy rains, which have lasted more than eight hours, led to the collapse of a house in the area of Mathbah, northwest of the capital Sana’a and resulted in the death of two girls and the injury of their mother in an initial toll.

The sources pointed out that the rescue operation is still going on, and torrential rains damaged hundreds of houses and washed away a number of roads.
