Siege Hinders Extension UN Truce in Yemen: Sana’a

Deputy Foreign Minister of Sana’a government, Hussein Al-Ezzi, said on Tuesday that the siege imposed by the Saudi-led coalition on the Yemeni people would impede the extension of the UN-brokered truce.

“The siege is a war crime and a crime against humanity, and it is a shame that the role of Western governments and the United Nations has become only to organize the siege and legitimize its use as a military and negotiating weapon,” he explained on Twitter.

Al-Ezzi pointed out that the United Nations and Western governments have become governed by the Gulf’s carrot and America’s stick, and they have nothing to do with laws.
