This coincides with the actual entry of the oil battle with the progress of the pro-Emirati factions towards its fields in Shabwah.

Rashad Al-Alimi, head of the council, said that the number of wells that have been detonated so far is seven. Al-Alimi, in his speech before the parliamentary blocs of Al-Barakani Council, did not specify the location of those wells, but he attributed the causes of the bombing to administrative and security problems, apparently in reference to the ongoing disputes in the oil fields in Shabwah. Specifically, in Usaylan and Bayhan, several confrontations erupted between tribesmen and al-Amalek fighters, as well as Islah factions affiliated with the third military region in Marib.

In this context, the governor of the Emirates in Shabwah, Awad Ibn al-Wazir, reported the escalation of security threats to oil fields and companies in the province, which has been witnessing battles with Islah factions since last week.

Iben alwazier, during a meeting with the leaders of his military factions in Ataq, warned against targeting oil fields and companies by what he described as “rebels.”

These warnings come at a time when the forces of the southern giants began advancing towards the oil fields in Shabwah. This is where the Special Security Forces, the military arm of Islah, are stationed.

Tribal sources in Baihan confirmed that these factions took control of the Jannah Hunt fields in Usaylan without confrontations; meanwhile, other forces are heading towards Al-Oqlah fields, the last areas of Islah’s concentration.

The military advance, backed by the cover of the coalition, coincides with a meeting held by Al-Alimi Committee, led by the Minister of Defense in Maeen government, with the leaders of Islah factions in Shabwah.

Military sources in Seiyun indicated that Minister Mohsen Al-Dairi Talib, during a meeting with the commander of the Special Security Forces in Shabwah, Abd Rabbo Lakab, Hanash, commander of the 21st Brigade, Mica, said that the oil fields would be delivered quickly without confrontations.

Rashad Al-Alimi had said during a meeting with the parliamentary Islah bloc that he had decided to hand over all oil fields in the east of the country to a force that he described as neutral, In reference to the giants that follow the member of the Presidential Council, Abu Zaraa Al-Muharrami.
