Hadramout: UAE-backed Troops Withdraw from Most Military Sites

The UAE-backed “Shabwa defense” and “Amaliqa brigades” militias withdrew on Monday evening suddenly from most military sites and checkpoints on Al-Ebr road, after about 24 hours of controlling it, informed sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources said that Saudi Arabia obligated the UAE-backed militiamen to leave many military checkpoints and returned Islah militants to their sites and checkpoints and released their detainees.

The sources declared that Saudi Arabia returned Islah militias to their sites, for fear from UAE of moving the confrontations to its southern border with Hadramout province.
