Aden: Teachers Protest Demanding their Legal Dues

Hundreds of teachers and educators demonstrated on Sunday in the city of Aden, demanding coalition government pay their legal dues.

According to YPA, the demonstrators chanted slogans in front of the education office in the city demanding the payment of teachers’ dues and the improvement of wages that no longer keep pace with reality to live with dignity, accusing the leadership of the Ministry of Education of coalition and its offices in the rest of Aden of corruption.

The teachers’ union promised during the protest rally to escalate until all the demands of teachers are fulfilled undiminished, after the strike in Aden schools reached 98%, during the first month of the new academic year.
