Confrontations broke out southwest of Marib city, Tuesday, between Sana’a forces on the one hand, and Saudi-led coalition forces and al-Qaeda elements on the other, local sources said.
According to the YPA, the coalition forces stationed in Wadi Obeida launched a large-scale military offensive towards Sana’a forces’ positions in the al-Akad area.
The sources confirmed that the artillery shells hit positions of the Sanaa forces in the same area.
According to the same sources, violent confrontations with various weapons are still raging between the two sides till now.
