Sana’a Threatens to Bomb Sensitive Sites in Coalition Countries

Minister of Defense in the Sana’a government, Major General Mohammed Nasser Al-Atefi, issued a strong warning to the regional powers that support the coalition in its war on Yemen, vowing to bomb very sensitive targets.

“The armed forces will manage a confrontation with a tactical and strategic dimension, and will not hesitate for a moment to bomb very sensitive and important targets, which they have placed in the bank of their upcoming and specific goals that they are under the line of fire, not only in the depth of Saudi and Emirati and their vital military and economic facilities, but also the arm of the strategic deterrence force of Yemen can reach much further,” Major General Al-Atefi said.

Al-Atifi pointed out that Western and “Zionist” threats in Yemen’s territorial waters are a blatant military intervention, stressing the Republic of Yemen, whose address is the capital Sanaa and its legitimacy, the Yemeni people, will confront these threats forcefully in accordance with the contents and texts of recognized international laws.

He affirmed that Sana’a armed forces are committed to this to the Yemeni people and the world that it will act in accordance with international laws, charters and covenants that guarantee for all the sovereignty of their countries and the dignity of their peoples, and prevent domination and guardianship over others.

The Minister said, “We are entrusted with protecting the shipping lanes in the southern Red Sea, the Bab al-Mandab strait, the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea, all the way to the eastern gateway to the Indian Ocean and the Socotra archipelago.

He added, “There are no red lines or obstacles will stand in the way of our missiles and drones by land, sea and air,” and we have prepared our capabilities and forces for this strategic military decision.

“During the previous truce periods, the coalition forces reorganized the conditions of their internal tools politically and militarily, and expanded the spread of foreign military bases in the eastern gate and vital economic areas, where oil and gas sources and sea and air ports are located in the ‘occupied’ Yemeni provinces to loot and drain the wealth of the Yemeni people.”

Al-Atefi indicated that this deployment comes within the framework of a hostile plan that includes keeping Yemen in a state of no peace and no war and the continuation of the suffocating siege in a way that achieves the intentions of the coalition forces and increases the living suffering of the Yemeni people.

“These hostile practices, which cannot be continued and should be removed quickly, by peace or war, contradict the will of our people, its identity and its national choices in freedom, sovereignty, unity, independence and pride,” he said, renewing that Sana’a after the armistice is not the same as before the truce.
