Al-Jawf Tribes Mobilize Near Saudi Border, Give It One Week to Release Al-Aukimi

A number of Jawf tribesmen loyal to coalition set up on Sunday sit-in tents near the Saudi border to demand the release of the leader of Islah party Sheikh Amin Al-Aukimi, the governor of “Hadi government” and the leader of the so-called Jawf axis previously.

The channel “Al-Mahriya” said, in a breaking news that Jawf tribes erected their first tents on the border between Yemen and Saudi Arabia to demand the speedy release of Sheikh Amin Al-Aukimi, who was arrested at the end of last July by Saudi forces.

The channel pointed to the continued flow of tribes to Muttrah area near the Saudi border to demand the return of sheikh Al-Aukimi to Yemen.

Statement issued by tribes of Al-Jawf gave the Saudi authorities only one week to release Sheikh / Amin Al-Akimi, stressing that unless this is done, Saudi Arabia will bear full responsibility for the escalatory steps that the tribes will take that will disturb them greatly, according to the statement.
