Senior “Legitimacy” Officials Exclusion from Sana’a- Riyadh Prisoners’ Agreement

Anger escalated among activists affiliated with the coalition, on Sunday, with the announcement of the final list of prisoners’ exchange between Sana’a and Riyadh.

Exclusive-alkhabar alyemeni:

Islah journalist, Abbas Al-Dhlaei, criticized Saudi Arabia for excluding the Yemeni forces loyal to it from the prisoner exchange agreement. He indicated in a tweet on his official page on social networking sites that the final list does not include any of the “legitimacy” prisoners, including senior officials.

Al-Dhaei pointed out that Saudi Arabia deliberately insults its followers by excluding them from the prisoner exchange negotiations, and it is keen to release its officers and mercenaries from Africa, North America and others.

Al-Dhaei is one of dozens of activists on social media who, until recently, supported the coalition and justified its crimes. They criticized the recent Saudi rapprochement with Sana’a, especially regarding the prisoners’ file, while ignoring thousands of prisoners belonging to the Yemeni forces loyal to the coalition, including ministers and party leaders.

Sana’a had announced through the head of the prisoners’ committee that its delegation had reached an agreement with the Saudi side regarding the prisoner exchange, noting that Saudi Arabia had promised to pressure its followers to remove obstacles from the broader exchange process.
