Sana’a to Organize National Conference to Secure Red Sea

Sana’a government announced on Thursday new options regarding securing the Red Sea, trade routes and navigation in international waters.

The Deputy Prime Minister for Security and Defense Affairs in the Sana’a Government, Lieutenant-General Jalal Al-Rowishan, revealed that is making preparations for a national conference on maritime security, through which it confirms to the world that it is the best in securing the Red Sea.

Lieutenant-General Al-Rowishan pointed out that Sana’a is present for the international partnership in securing trade and navigation routes in international waters, while at the same time exercising full sovereignty over its water, air and land territory.

He noted that Yemen is keen on the security of the Red Sea, waterways and freedom of international navigation, noting that the continuation of the war and the siege makes Sanaa’s options open.
