United States knocked out on Wednesday, a new Omani mediation with “Houthis”, this comes hours after threats made by officials in Sana’a to America against the background of its recent movements in the east of the country.

US State Department revealed that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken informed his Omani counterpart of his country’s thanks for Oman’s efforts in extending the armistice. He reiterated that there is no military solution in Yemen.
In a statement, the US State Department quoted on two ministers as confirming their support for the extension of the armistice and heading towards a comprehensive political solution in Yemen, noting that Blinken offered during the meeting to release employee salary payments and other humanitarian measures in exchange for extending the truce.
The ways of the United States, whose envoy recently thwarted an agreement that was in its last moments, to extend the armistice, according to what the head of the Political Council in Sana’a, Mahdi al-Mashat, revealed, the truce file is not out of a desire to achieve it, rather, it reflects American fears of Sanaa’s reaction, which threatened to take measures against American moves in eastern Yemen.
Ali al-Qahoum, a member of the political bureau of Anssarallah movement, “Houthis,” said in a post on his social media page that Sana’a would not remain idle in front of what he described as the American moves in looting wealth and occupation. Pointing out that Washington did not take the warnings of Sana’a seriously.
Al-Qahoum’s warnings came hours after US ambassador arrived in the oil-rich Hadhramaut province, as part of US efforts to seize the oil file under the pretext of securing its fields.
