Marib city, which is under the authority of Islah, announced that arrangements had begun to prepare the general budget of the province for the first time in years.

According to media sources, the Budget Committee held a meeting chaired by the Undersecretary of the province for Administrative Affairs, Abdullah Al-Babkari. The meeting discussed intensifying efforts to prepare the province’s budget for the year 2023, based on the directives of Aden government.
This is the first time that Marib authority has approved an annual budget after Al-Aradah continued to manage it according to his own policy, which made for him millions of dollars a day.
The new approach confirms Al-Aradah’s agreement to hand over the province’s resources to the Central Bank in Aden After he remained, during the past eight years of the war, refusing at all,
It is an indication that the decision to officially dismiss him from the post of governor is approaching, especially since the decision to start preparing a budget for the province, which is rich in oil and gas.
