YPC:  Saudi Coalition Detains New Diesel Ship

The Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) confirmed that the Saudi-led coalition seized a new diesel ship and prevented it from reaching Hodeida port.

YPC Official spokesman Issam al-Mutawakil said that the Saudi coalition, and its persistence in increasing the suffering of the Yemeni people, detained the diesel ship “Primorye” despite being subject to inspection in Djibouti.

He pointed out that by seizing this ship, the number of fuel vessels detained by the coalition increased to two diesel ships.

Al-Mutawakel held the Saudi coalition and the United Nations fully responsible for the humanitarian and economic repercussions of the continued piracy of fuel vessels.
