Official media quoted on the head of the intelligence agency in Aden, Ahmed Muhsin al-Yafei, as saying that he had been assigned by the ministers of defense and interior in Aden government to hand over security and army files to a British military delegation.
Al-Yafei met in Aden with the delegation headed by the British Navy Adviser James Edward, with the participation of the military attaché’s advisor and the embassy’s first secretary.
The meeting, which was held at the headquarters of Defense Ministry in Aden, discussed the thorny security and military files.

The British moves are also part of a plan aimed at handing over the security and military files to the United Kingdom, especially since it comes in the wake of Rashad Al-Alimi, head of the Presidential Authority, in his recent interview with Al-Hadath channel, canceling the clause of merging the affiliated military and security factions in the areas controlled by his government and replacing them with a joint operations room.
The British move is an indication to the decision of the international and regional parties of the war to transfer the operations room of war on Yemen, which has been going on for eight years, to the Yemeni interior, within the strategy after removing Saudi Arabia from the quagmire, and uniting its factions on the ground.
It also represents, according to experts, a return to the British occupation in a new guise, a strategy adopted by Western countries, including Britain, to control the world after leaving the dark era of military occupation, of which Aden was a part.
