Yemeni Brotherhood Receive Saudi Military Reinforcements in Abyn

Saudi Arabia sent military reinforcements to militants affiliated with the Islah Party, who are now stationed under the name of the “Joint Forces”, in the coast city of Shoqra in Abyan province, southern Yemen, informed sources reported on Sunday.

Southern activist Ahmed Al-Hanshi confirmed in a post on his “Facebook” page: “The Saudi-led coalition sent a shipment of weapons to the Joint Forces Command in Shoqra.”

He added that the weapons shipment arrived Saturday night in the east of Ahwar city on board a locomotive and a truck.

The arms shipment was received by “military vehicles belonging to the joint forces, and they were transported to several military sites in Shoqra,” according to al-Hanshi.

The “Joint Forces Command” in the Abyan axis warned, in a statement issued on August 23, of the consequences of any military attack targeting its positions in the province by the UAE-backed factions.
