The Capital Municipality Council, Sana’a, approved mechanisms for applying technical and engineering requirements in works, construction, public security, and safety measures.
Meeting chaired by the mayor Hamoud Obad, also discussed aspects related to strengthening compliance with the technical requirements for granting building permits, including security and safety and adoption of earthquake-resistant engineering designs.
It approved a number of procedures related to the work mechanism and coordination between the works areas in the districts and the Civil Defense Authority, to adopt security and safety requirements within building permits.
