Martyrdom of a citizen in Bani Hushaish due to the explosion of an object from the remnants of the aggression

A citizen was martyred in Bani Hushaish District in Sana’a Governorate in northern Yemen today due to the explosion of an “unexploded” object from the remnants of the aggression in the Dhahra area (Rijam isolation).

The Executive Center for Mine Action stated in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the death toll from the remnants of the aggression today rose to two after the martyrdom of another citizen in the district of Khub and Al-Sha`af in Al-Jawf province.

The center explained that the rate of casualties due to the remnants of the aggression is increasing in many Yemeni provinces contaminated with the remnants of the war, confirming that this represents a constant danger that threatens the lives of citizens.

The center emphasized the necessity of supporting life-saving humanitarian work to clean up those areas from the remnants left by eight years of war on Yemen.
