President Al-Mashat emphasizes the importance of the role of the Ministry of Human Rights in documenting crimes of aggression

In uncovering and documenting the crimes and violations done by the US-Saudi aggression coalition, President Mahdi Al-Mashat, the president of the Supreme Political Council, stressed the significance of the Ministry of Human Rights’ role.

He emphasized the significance of continuing to draft human rights reports and telling the international community about the crimes and violations the Yemeni people are facing, during his meeting with the Minister of Human Rights, Ali Al-Deilami, on Tuesday.

He affirmed that the US-Saudi aggression had carried out the most heinous crimes against the Yemeni people, including their women, children, and elderly, and pointed out that the siege was the worst crime the aggression alliance committed in targeting the Yemeni people.

Also urged the media to step up their media and awareness-raising activities to document the crimes the US-Saudi aggression committed against the Yemeni people on a constant basis in order to serve as a constant reminder to them and highlighting the grievances of the Yemeni people to the entire world.

The meeting in particular focused on the promotion and protection of human rights in Yemen, as well as the activities of the Ministry of Human Rights and the extent to which its plans for the current year have been carried out.

The ministry’s documentation of the atrocities carried out by the US-Saudi aggression against the Yemeni people as well as its interactions with international human rights groups to let them know the truth about the situation in Yemen were also discussed at the meeting.
