A negative message from the alliance regarding salaries

Despite the intense promotion by Saudi Arabia of the financial deposit it promised to give to the Aden government loyal to it, it appears to be the end of diplomatic efforts to bring about peace in Yemen. Riyadh chose to maintain the suspension of oil exports and compensate its affiliated government with this deposit, which also includes paying salaries in the areas under its control to prevent collapse, even though Sanaa had offered to permit the re-export of oil and to use its revenues to pay the salaries of all Yemeni employees.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Observers claim that the United States of America is responsible for this action, as it sees demands to pay salaries from oil revenues as extremist demands that should only be handled as part of a Yemeni-Yemeni political process or in connection with peace agreements. As a result, when Saudi Arabia caved into American pressure and reneged on the commitments it made last April, negotiations stopped definitively about a month ago.

Mahdi Al-Mashat, the head of the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a, said that American and British obstruction caused negotiations to stall at the point of salaries.

According to Mahdi Al-Mashat, Sana’a considers paying salaries from the oil riches of Yemeni nationals to be a priority that must be met, or it will be forcibly taken from them. In order to protect its inhabitants’ rights, Sana’a is forced to take urgent military action due to the alliance’s continuing procrastination and the worsening of the citizens’ suffering.
