Marib – Al-Masa-Press:
Loud explosions were heard around the “Safer” oil facility on Thursday in Marib province, according to local sources.
The sources explained that the explosions were a result of mortar shells falling close to strategic and dangerous sites in the oil facility.
It was argued that the facility would have faced a major catastrophe if the explosions’ sites had been harmed.
No party has yet claimed accountability for the targeting or revealed its motives.
In the midst of intensifying power struggles among factions in the province, Marib districts, which are governed by pro-alliance Al-Islah factions, are seeing a serious security collapse.
