The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced this morning that the number of martyrs as a result of the ongoing Israeli bombardment on the strip has risen to 2,750.

According to a statement by the ministry, the number of injured has reached 9,700 during 10 days of continuous bombing of Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Interior in Gaza pointed out the presence of over 1,000 bodies of martyrs under the rubble of destroyed homes. This will significantly increase the registered number of casualties with the Ministry of Health. Due to the decomposition of these bodies under the debris, the Interior Ministry issued a dire warning about an environmental catastrophe and the spread of diseases.
