According to Hebrew media, hundreds of families of prisoners detained by the Palestinian resistance in Gaza staged a sit-in in front of the Israeli Ministry of War’s headquarters, demanding that Netanyahu step down, admit his failure, and return their sons from Gaza.

The demonstrators chanted slogans demanding that Hamas arrest Netanyahu in exchange for the release of Israeli prisoners in their custody.

Discontent with Netanyahu and his government is growing within Israeli circles, with increasing calls for his departure and trial. At the same time, the Democratic Movement in the occupation entity stated that the Prime Minister’s Office had burned documents following the “Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa” carried out by the Al-Qassam Brigades on October 7th.

Netanyahu’s office took this step in an attempt to minimize his responsibility for the failure of the occupation government to counter the Palestinian resistance’s attack on settlements and barracks around the Gaza Strip.

The spokesman for the Israeli occupation army announced yesterday that the number of Israeli prisoners in Gaza has risen to 212.
