According to media sources, Israeli authorities have maintained the disruption of telephone communications, including landlines and mobile phones, for the third day and Internet networks for the people of the Gaza Strip. This has hindered communication among residents within the cities of the Strip, preventing them from staying connected and informed, unable to reassure each other, in addition to isolating the Gaza Strip from the outside world.
On the first day of the aggression, Israeli authorities destroyed the building of the Palestinian Telecommunications Company in the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood, as well as the transmission towers atop high-rise buildings.
