Harvest of Hezbollah’s Operations: missile bombardment on occupied settlements, drone downed, and Israeli soldier killed

Hezbollah, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, announced on Sunday the targeting of the settlement of “Kiryat Shmona” in the northern region of the occupation with a number of Grad rockets and the downing of a drone.

Hezbollah also downed an occupation drone while it was flying over the skies of the city of “Nabatiyeh” in southern Lebanon, and video clips showed the wreckage of the Israeli drone.

In another statement, Hezbollah stated that its mujahideen “targeted Kiryat Shmona settlement in response to the heinous, brutal crime committed by the occupation on Sunday afternoon, when it targeted a civilian car on the Al-Muaisara Road between Ainata and Aytroun, resulting in the martyrdom of a woman and three of her grandchildren.”

Hezbollah emphasized in its statement, published on its Telegram account, that it will never tolerate touching or assaulting civilians and that its response will be firm and strong.

Hebrew media affiliated with the occupation reported today that rockets launched from Lebanon fell in “Kiryat Shmona.”

Meanwhile, Lebanese media outlets reported on Sunday that the artillery of the occupation targeted the outskirts of the town of “Tarbikha” with 11 shells and the town of “Ramia” with three shells.

Hezbollah issued a statement on Sunday in response to the Israeli bombing of “Aytroun” and “Ainata.”

The statement read: “On May 11, 2023, at 17:00, the Israeli army targeted a civilian car in the “Ghadamatha” area between the towns of “Aytroun” and “Ainata,” where two cars were driving on the first street, and its owner, Samir Abdul Hussein Ayoub (a journalist from the town of Ainata).”

The statement revealed the names of the victims: “Samira Abdul Hussein Ayoub, and the children Rimas Mahmoud Shour, 14 years old, Talin Mahmoud Shour, 12 years old, and Layan Mahmoud Shour, 10 years old.”

According to initial information, sources reported that three children were killed as a result of targeting journalist Samir Ayoub’s car on the Ainata road, and a woman was injured.

In another statement, the targeting of the “Avivim” barracks and the “Jal Al-Dair” Israeli site with guided missiles was announced, as well as the targeting of the general site of “Miskaf” with guided missiles and the destruction of part of its technical and technological equipment.

Hezbollah mourned two of its members who were martyred in southern Lebanon and announced the targeting of a military vehicle belonging to the Israeli army at the “Bayad Blida” site with missiles.

The Lebanese National News Agency stated that the occupation’s shelling targeted the outskirts of the towns of “Marwahin”, “Dahirah”, “Tlipsin”, and “Aalma Al-Shaab” and also targeted two ambulance cars near the town of “Tirharfa” in southern Lebanon, resulting in the injury of four paramedics.

The Israeli occupation army announced on Sunday the killing of a soldier in the northern Gaza Strip, raising the total number to 347 since October 7th.

The Hebrew website “Ynet” stated that the dead soldier was Sergeant Yonatan Maimon, from the Nahal patrol, 20 years old, from Ofakim. He felt last night in a battle in the northern Gaza Strip.

The website indicated that a soldier from the Nahal patrol and a reserve armored officer were seriously injured during the fighting in the Strip.”

On another note, the occupation army spokesman announced the killing of an Israeli soldier in a Hezbollah attack in northern occupied Palestine, near the border with Lebanon.

The Hebrew website “jdn” reported that 10 rockets were launched at Kiryat Shmona, indicating that a car was directly hit without any casualties.

It was reported that one missile was intercepted, and three strikes were detected in the city. The residents were advised to stay in shelters.

A video clip circulated by the media documented the burning of a car as a result of missiles falling on various cities and areas of the occupation entity’s settlements.

Media outlets explained that the Iron Dome system failed to intercept rockets coming from Lebanon and landed in “Kiryat Shmona,” resulting in a fire outbreak in the settlement.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon continues to carry out operations targeting communication and intelligence devices belonging to the occupation. The Lebanese border has been experiencing tensions since the start of “Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa” on October 7th last month.
