The Israeli occupation entity admitted on Saturday evening to the deaths of an additional five soldiers in the northern Gaza Strip and the injuries of six other military personnel during the confrontations.

In a statement to the army, the Israeli occupation entity announced that it had authorized the publication of the information, revealing the deaths of five soldiers during clashes with Hamas militants in Gaza and disclosing the names of the dead soldiers.
Earlier, Hebrew media reported that six soldiers, including an officer and four reserve soldiers from the 697th Battalion, as well as an officer from the 12th Battalion in the Golani Brigade, were seriously wounded.
The statement mentioned that the five dead, including two officers, were killed in an explosion of a mined tunnel hatch in Beit Hanoun, north of the Strip.
The Al-Qassam Brigades released footage today showing the targeting of a house in which Israeli soldiers were barricaded, north of Beit Hanoun in the Gaza Strip.
