A valuable catch for Sana’a in Umm Al-Rashrash Israeli

Sana’a revealed on Wednesday its attack on the Israeli settlement of Umm Al-Rashrash on the Red Sea. What is the strategic objective there?

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Umm Al-Rashrash is an Israeli settlement that is considered strategic due to its location between Egypt and Jordan and its overlooking of the Gulf of Aqaba. It owns the largest ports that connect the occupied territories to the Far East and is currently one of the most prominent naval bases for the Israeli occupation, where American and Israeli ships and battleships are stationed there as part of the operation to secure the Red Sea.

It also owns two airports, one of which includes an airbase located 50 kilometers to the north, and the other is a small airport for civilian purposes in the city center.

The settlement has remained the subject of conflict between the Israeli occupation and the Ottomans for decades before being transferred to Egyptian rule, which announced its abandonment following confrontations with the occupation during the rule of Yitzhak Rabin.

It isn’t yet clear whether Sana’a’s attack targeted the Israeli air or naval base there, but the clips broadcasted by Israeli activists on social media showed the moment a ballistic missile landed that the occupation failed to intercept and the moment its explosion in an area appeared to be military-isolated.
