Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesman for Sana’a forces, reassured the crew’s families, stating in his recent statement that they are being dealt with in accordance with the teachings of the Islamic religion.
It is expected that General Saree will issue a new statement revealing new details about the identities of the Israeli ship crew, some of whom were confirmed by Al Jazeera to hold dual Israeli nationalities.
Sana’a announced late Sunday evening the seizure of an Israeli ship with dozens of sailors of various nationalities.
The vessel’s seizure came after Sana’a forces announced the closure of the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait to Israeli ships in solidarity with the victims of Zionist crimes in Gaza.
