Hezbollah Responds to the Targeting of the Al-Mayadeen Team in Southern Lebanon

Hezbollah in Lebanon carried out what it considered an “initial response” to the Israeli occupation’s targeting of journalists from the Al-Mayadeen channel, resulting in the martyrdom of Farah Omar and Rabie Al-Maamari and other civilian martyrs.

Follow-ups / Al-Khabar Al-Yemen:

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon stated that it targeted the “military gathering” affiliated with Israeli military intelligence while it was present in a house on the outskirts of the settlement of Manara with two guided missiles, confirming that this led to the killing and injuring of its members.

The Israeli occupation conducted a direct airstrike targeting the Al-Mayadeen team, resulting in the martyrdom of Al-Mayadeen correspondent Farah Omar and cameraman Rabie Al-Maamari.

In a statement, Hezbollah affirmed that “this aggression and the accompanying martyrdom of other civilians will not pass without a response from the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance, who have recorded the most wonderful epics of heroism and redemption in the field.”

The statement pointed out that “this crime, along with the assassination of the journalist martyr Issam Al-Abdullah, the shooting at the media convoy in Yaron, and the ongoing killing operations by the occupation forces against dozens of journalists in Gaza and the destruction of their headquarters, highlights the importance of the role played by the media in exposing the terrorist practices of the enemy and revealing its horrific crimes against civilians, especially in the Gaza Strip.”
