A third ship intercepted in the Gulf of Aden

Britain confirmed on Saturday the interception of a third Israeli ship in the Gulf of Aden.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The British Trade Operations Center issued a statement urging ships to comply with the instructions of Yemeni authorities regarding their request to alter the course of one of the ships.

The center confirmed the presence of Yemeni forces’ activity in the Gulf of Aden.

In a photo, the center indicated that the ship was intercepted while attempting to enter the Bab el-Mandeb Strait from the direction of the Gulf of Aden.

The ship, it appears, is heading towards the occupied ports in Palestine, against which Sana’a forces previously issued a warning to anyone dealing with Israeli occupation.

The request from Sana’a forces for the ship to change its course suggests that the ship’s identity may not be Israeli, but rather a foreign vessel involved in shipping operations to Israel.

This ship could be the third one announced to be intercepted within days, as Sana’a forces officially declared the detention of an Israeli cargo ship, while reports from the US spoke of another one being targeted by a drone in the Arabian Sea.
