The US defense reveals details of the Bab Al-Mandeb confrontations

The US Department of Defense revealed on Sunday the details of confrontations with Yemeni forces in the Red Sea.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Al-Jazeera quoted a Pentagon official as saying that the US destroyer, USS Carney, and commercial ships were targeted by missile and drone attacks in the Red Sea.

The official did not disclose the repercussions of the attacks.

Two days ago, the US Defense Department announced that the same destroyer had come under attack by a drone in the southern Red Sea.

The destroyer Carney is one of several American warships recently deployed in the Red Sea to accompany Israeli cargo ships in an attempt to break the Yemeni blockade on Israel.
