Abdul-Salam further stated, “We emphasized to everyone that Yemen’s operations are aimed at supporting the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and we cannot stand idly by the aggression and siege imposed on the Strip, where there is no food, no medicine, and even drinkable water, which the enemy entity has cut off.”

He added, “In various meetings, it has been emphasized that Yemen’s stance with Gaza is non-negotiable and that enemy ships or those heading to its ports will remain vulnerable to targeting until the aggression is halted, the blockade on Gaza is lifted, and humanitarian aid continuously flows into the Strip.”

He affirmed that “any genuine steps that respond to the humanitarian situation in Palestine and Gaza by providing food and medicine will contribute to de-escalation.”
