Malaysia will prohibit the Israeli shipping company (ZIM) from docking in any of its ports, according to Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim today, Wednesday.

Ibrahim stated in a statement that “this decision is in response to Israel’s actions, which violate basic humanitarian principles and international laws.”
He pointed out that the Cabinet allowed ships owned by this company to dock in Malaysia in 2002. In 2005, the Cabinet at that time granted permission for the ship to dock in Malaysia, but the current government has decided to cancel all previous Cabinet decisions.
The Malaysian Prime Minister affirmed that his country is “confident that these decisions will not have a negative impact on Malaysia’s commercial activities.”
“ZIM” is an Israeli international shipping company listed on the stock exchange and is one of the best 20 global shipping companies.
Following the operations by Sana’a forces and the detention of ships bound for the Israeli occupation entity in response to the crimes and massacres being committed in Gaza, several international oil and transportation companies announced that they had temporarily suspended all their operations across the Red Sea.
