Identification of the cargo ship targeted in the Indian Ocean

Britain revealed on Sunday the identity of a cargo ship that came under attack earlier off the Indian coasts.

The ship named “Kim Pluto” is owned by the Ofer trading organization, which is run by Israeli tycoon Idan Ofer, according to the Financial Times, which confirmed the ship’s affiliation with Israel.

The newspaper indicated that the ship was attacked by a drone about 200 miles from the Indian coasts.

Earlier, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Organization reported an incident off India without specifying its nature or the identity of the ship.

The attack indicates that the blockade on Israel is not limited to the Red Sea and the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait but will extend to other passages in the region.
