Two naval attacks and a third aerial attack.. Flare-up of the Yemeni front

The Yemeni front reignited on Tuesday with the announcement of three recent maritime and land operations.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Several explosions rocked the Eilat settlement, south of Tel Aviv. The Israeli army claimed to have intercepted a drone, while activists confirmed the rising smoke from various areas of the city located on the edge of the Red Sea.

The aerial attack coincided with Britain’s announcement of two naval attacks off the Yemeni western coast.

The British Maritime Trade Organization reported in two reports that it had received several reports throughout the morning, most notably of an “incident” 50 miles off Hudaydah and another in the evening approximately 60 nautical miles southwards.

Reports also indicated intense drone activity in the skies of the Red Sea.

The organization has not provided clarification regarding the nature of these incidents, which have been connected recently to Yemeni naval attacks against ships associated with Israel.

Sana’a has not officially commented on these attacks yet.

These new attacks come after a relative calm witnessed on the Red Sea front in the past few days as shipping companies and commercial ships complied with Sana’a’s instructions not to sail towards Israeli ports or change its course away from Yemeni lanes.

These latest attacks reflect the US’ attempts, which declared the formation of a renewed alliance to break the Yemeni blockade on Israel amidst growing concerns of a food crisis in the occupied territories.

They also signify a dangerous development that could escalate into a larger regional confrontation.
