The German shipping company, along with the Danish company Maersk, announced the suspension of its ships’ passage in the Red Sea last month. Hapag-Lloyd stated at the time that one of its ships was “targeted in an attack while sailing near the coasts of Yemen.”

Earlier, the Sana’a forces confirmed that they would continue targeting ships heading to Israeli ports until the aggression on Gaza stops and the necessary food and medicine are allowed into the Strip.
