Increase in the number of enemy army deaths in Gaza

The Israeli occupation army announced this Wednesday morning the killing of an officer in the “Engineering Corps” by the resistance’s gunfire during the battles in the northern Gaza Strip.

In a brief statement, the Israeli occupation army stated that “Major Meron Moshe Gersh (21 years old), a soldier in the Yahalam unit of the Corps of Combat Engineers, fell yesterday in battle in the northern Gaza Strip.”

The Yahalam, or Yahalom, unit is one of the elite units in the Israeli occupation army and is considered the highest engineering authority in the army. It primarily operates in storming buildings and fortified areas to dismantle explosives and traps.

Yesterday, Tuesday, the Israeli occupation army confirmed “the killing of a Druze soldier and the injury of another officer and soldier during battles with the Palestinian resistance in the central Gaza Strip.”

Thus, the officially announced number of officers and soldiers killed since the start of the ground operation in the Gaza Strip by the gunfire and shells of the Palestinian resistance has risen to 180, while their total number since October 7th has reached 507 deaths.
