The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Thursday, an increase in the number of martyrs from the Israeli occupation aggression on Gaza to 22,438 martyrs and the wounded to 57,614 since the 7th of October until today.

Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

“In the past 24 hours, the occupation forces committed 13 horrific massacres against families, resulting in the martyrdom of 125 people and the injury of 318, according to Ministry of Health spokesman Ashraf Al-Qidra.

Al-Qidra pointed out that 70% of the victims of the continuous Israeli bombing on the Gaza Strip are children and women, in addition to the martyrdom of 263 medical personnel and the arrest of 99 others, including hospital directors in northern Gaza.

He also mentioned that the occupation forces deliberately targeted 150 health institutions, leading to the closure of 30 hospitals and 53 health centers in all areas of the Gaza Strip, as well as the destruction of 121 ambulances.

He called on international institutions to urgently act to protect hospitals in southern Gaza, ensure the access of the wounded and patients to them, and ensure that the Al-Shifa Medical Complex scenario is not repeated.

He pointed out that more than 1.9 million displaced people are facing famine, the spread of epidemics and infectious diseases, and a lack of shelter, water, food, and medicine, warning of a health and humanitarian catastrophe in the city of Rafah after more than half of the population of the Strip has been displaced.

The Israeli war on the Gaza Strip has entered its 90th day, with Israeli bombardment continuing in various areas of the northern and southern parts of the Strip amidst the worsening humanitarian and health crisis.
