Ambrey, a British maritime security company, reported a new incident in the Bab Al-Mandeb without providing details.
Media reports indicate that Yemeni forces forced a cargo ship to change course after it was heading towards occupied ports in Palestine.
This new operation is part of a series of operations carried out by the Sana’a forces since their decision to ban navigation to Israel in November last year in solidarity with Gaza.
What distinguishes this new operation is that it comes after an American-British escalation and an unprecedented military buildup in the Red Sea, including the formation of a new alliance in an effort to break the Yemeni blockade on Israel.
