British-American complaint about the blockade of Yemen

On Saturday, Britain and America lodged a complaint about the repercussions of the Yemeni blockade. This comes following their military failure to break the blockade on Israel.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The US Treasury Department stated in a press release that Yemeni operations have somewhat raised prices in the United States, while British Finance Minister Jeremy Hunt confirmed in a similar statement that the British economy will be affected by the price hike.

The American-British announcement comes after shipping companies decided to raise transportation fees via the Cape of Good Hope by approximately 175%, as reported earlier by the American agency Bloomberg.

About 18 international shipping companies were forced to redirect their operations via Africa, according to the International Trade Organization.

These companies are either associated with Israel or carry out shipping operations to its ports, which prompted Sana’a to previously ban their activities in the Red Sea.

It is still unclear whether these American-British statements are part of a campaign to justify the attack on Yemen or reflect a new reality. However, it will undoubtedly exert further pressure on the occupation to end the blockade on Gaza and cease its ongoing aggression for the past three months. This is what Yemen aspires to achieve, as its operations are linked to ending the blockade on Gaza.
