A spokesman for the Sana’a forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced on Monday a military operation targeting an American military cargo ship, stating that the operation was carried out with suitable naval missiles.

Brigadier General Saree stated that they targeted the American military cargo ship “Ocean Jazz” in the Gulf of Aden, affirming that “the response of the Yemeni forces to American and British attacks is inevitable, and any new attack will not pass without response and punishment.”
He pointed out that their forces continue to prevent Israeli ships or those heading to the occupied Palestinian ports until the aggression is halted and the blockade on the Palestinian people in Gaza is lifted.
He further emphasized that “Yemeni forces continue to take all defensive and offensive measures within the right to defend our beloved Yemen and to reaffirm Yemen’s supportive stance towards Palestine. We will respond to any American or British attack on our country by targeting all sources of threats in the Red and Arabian Seas.”
