The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip revealed on Thursday that more than 30,000 displaced people near Nasser Medical Complex in the southern Gaza Strip lack water, food, baby milk, and medicine.
The Ministry’s spokesperson, Ashraf al-Qudra, said in a statement published on the Telegram platform that more than 30,000 displaced people in schools near the medical Nasser complex lack water, food, baby milk, and medicines required for thousands of chronic and medical cases. Al-Qudra called on the United Nations and its institutions to take urgent action to provide for the living and health needs of the displaced.
Since the outbreak of the devastating Israeli war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the occupying forces have cut off the supply of water, food, medicine, electricity, and fuel to the residents of Gaza. There are some 2.3 million Palestinians who are already suffering from very deteriorating conditions.
