The US Department of Defense revealed on Wednesday the exhaustion of the military option in confronting Yemen.
This comes as the second month of American-British aggression against Yemen begins, amid an escalation of Yemeni operations in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

The spokesman for the US Department of Defense, Sabrina Singh, confirmed during an interview with Al-Hurra TV, an Arabic channel, that what she described as “the Houthis” possess significant military capabilities and an arsenal of weapons.
Singh’s statements coincided with similar remarks from former Assistant Secretary of Defense Mary Beth Long, in which she stated that the US no longer knows what plan to take to contain the attacks in the Red Sea.
Long considered that the continuation of the bombardment on Yemen is not a sustainable long-term solution due to the high costs of operating battleships, aircraft, personnel, and ammunition. She emphasized that the American coalition is currently bearing significant burdens.
These statements come after about a month of American-British airstrikes and missile bombardment on Yemen, which America claimed were aimed at halting Yemeni operations against the Israeli occupation. However, the frequency of Yemeni attacks in the Red Sea has recently increased, indicating a new American-British failure.
