Israeli strike on Gaza apartments killed 106 is ‘apparent war crime

A Human Rights Watch investigation published Thursday said an Israeli attack on a Gaza building in October had no apparent militant target, but killed 106 civilians, including 54 children, making it an “apparent war crime.”

Human Rights Watch says four separate strikes collapsed the Engineer’s Building in central Gaza that was housing some 350 people, around a third of whom had fled their homes elsewhere in the territory.

Gaza’s Ministry of Health confirmed that 33037 killed and at least 75,668 wounded in the Gaza Strip. Some rights groups estimate the death toll to be much higher when accounting for those presumed dead.
