At least 30 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes in Rafah

Medics said on Monday that 25 Palestinians were killed and others wounded in Israeli air strikes targeting three homes in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah.

In northern Gaza City, health officials said Israeli jets bombed two homes, killing at least four people and wounding others. They said two brothers were killed in the attack on one of the houses.

The strikes on Rafah, home to more than a million Palestinians who have fled Israeli bombardment in the northern Gaza Strip for months, came hours before Egypt hosted Hamas leaders to discuss a ceasefire deal with Israel.
