The new Yemeni missile’s obsession hangs over the US media

American media outlets dedicated significant coverage on Wednesday to the new Yemeni missile, following confirmation from Sana’a of its successful test.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

One prominent American channel that focused on the new missile was CBS, which dedicated its “60 Minutes” program, which has been specializing in investigative reports since the 1980s, last year to highlight the new developments in Yemeni operations.

The channel quoted Rear Admiral Brad Cooper, the Deputy Commander of the US Fifth Fleet, stating that the “Al-Houthis” are the first entity in world history to use ballistic missiles in their operations against ships.

Cooper commented on the channel’s report on the recent Yemeni operation in the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean.

The operation took place last Monday against the vessel “Stolt Skuld,” approximately 450 kilometers off the eastern coast of Yemen.

The operation attracted unprecedented international attention, with Western media providing extensive coverage of it.

Following the operation, Yemeni forces announced that the operation was carried out with a new missile that entered the naval theater of operations for the first time since the beginning of Yemeni operations against Israeli shipping last November.

According to Brigadier General Abdullah bin Amer, the Deputy Director of the Moral Guidance Department, this new missile is being used for the first time in history and is characterized by 100% accuracy in hitting its target, even at a long-range distance at sea.
